E.T Comes to Blu-Ray…Finally!

E.T. Comes to Blu-ray…finally! The story of the little alien who just wants to get home, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, comes to Blu-ray for the first time on October 22nd with an all new digitally remastered version, complete with 7.1 surround sound for all you home cinema buffs.

You’ll be able to get your hands on the Blu-ray or Special Edition Blu-ray Steel book, along with the fully pimped out Limited Edition Spaceship pack.  This limited edition collection also includes a model of the E.T. spaceship and a 44 page digibooklet full of rare sketches and set pictures.

The Blu-ray and Steelbook feature the original 1982 theatrical version of the film, as well as a whole heap of extra bonus features including deleted scenes, a cast reunion, a look at the score from renowned composer John Williams and the original trailer.

Excitingly, there’s a new interview with the film’s director, the legendary Steven Spielberg, and a new featurette, The E.T. Journals, loaded with an hour of new footage from the set of the movie.

Both these editions also offer digital and Ultraviolet copies of the film so you can watch it on the go and stream it to your computer anywhere ON THE PLANET!

This is a must have for kids of the 80’s and fans of sci-fi alike – a touching story on a grand cinematic scale and we’ll be first in line to pick up a copy.
