Full House for Comics Clock Tower

The Comics Clock Tower at this year’s Lakes International Comic Art Festival will be jammed to the rafters with creators, publishers and fans. The free to enter venue will feature a whole host of arty story-telling goings-on, with plenty of things to goggle at that will tickle your comic gland.

“The Comics Clock Tower is our version of a comics marketplace and artists’ alley. This is your chance to meet creators, see them sketch, get work signed as well as buy books, prints and more. Some work will be available for the first time at the festival.” – Julie Tait – Festival Director.

A good number of the festival’s guests who feature in the main events programme will be making an appearance in The Comics Clock Tower to sign stuff and meet their fans.

Forbidden Planet will again have a large presence in The Comics Clock Tower, also taking over the Malt Room at The Brewery Art Centre and setting up their own portable shop that will stock all manner of new comics and graphic novels.

Tickets for the festival itself, which runs 17-19 October in Kendal, Cumbria, UK, can be bought from the website here.
