IDW Land at London Super Comic Con

IDW have been steadily growing each year with some great licenses and some cool comics. The news that they will be at the London Super Comic Con in February is great for fans but also aspiring writers and artists as they will looking at portfolios.

IDW Publishing are making their first trip to the UK to attend the inaugural London Super Comic Convention, alongside Stan Lee and a host of other American creators. We are extremely pleased we have managed to not only secure IDW’s attendance but agree a schedule with them for portfolio reviews, with an eye to finding some new creative talent to sign up.

Given that IDW are now the 4th largest publisher of Comic Books in the US (according to the latest survey by Diamond), and home to an impressive line up of titles such as Angel, Doctor Who, GI Joe, Star Trek, Terminator: Salvation, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Transformers this should really bring in all types of creators (writers, artists, inkers and colorist) to have their portfolios reviewed and hopefully fulfill their ambitions to be signed to a major American Publisher .

Eisner award nominated Chris Ryall the Chief Creative Officer at IDW and the company’s Editor-in-Chief since 2004 will be there to cast his critical eye over the portfolios as well as participate in a panel or two, but If that wasn’t enough, we have also managed to secure an Exclusive London Super Comic Convention cover to Transformers, which will be released and available for the first time ever, at the show.

Joining IDW is an impressive line-up of comic book creators from around the world including Brian Bolland, Mike Deodato Jnr., Kevin McGuire, George Perez, Bernie Wrightson and many, many more. Together with 2000AD, the UK’s largest comic publisher, this promises to be the comic event in the UK for 2012.

Don’t miss out on this special opportunity to have your portfolio reviewed and pick up one of the hottest variant covers around.
