James Mangold to Unleash “The Wolverine”?

Hugh Jackman is  about to start filming a “Les Miserables” film, however 20th Century Fox is hard at work making sure that by the time he is done filming, he can jump right into the sequel to “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. Whether we want another Wolverine film is still under debate in the geek community….

We recently reported that several directors were in talks to replace Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan) after he stepped down. That list was recently narrowed to three choices, James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma), Gavin O’Connor (Miracle) and Antoine Fuqua (TrainingDay). all of which definitly have the talent and vision to helm “The Wolverine”

News has now surfaced that the studio and Jackman have decided that James Mangold is the man they want to hand the franchise to. Negotiations are about to start, and people close to Mangold say that he’s very eager to direct the sequel. The plan is to begin filming in the fall.

What do you think? Will James Mangold make a good film? or is it best to let the Wolverine Franchise rest for a while? Who would you want to direct the film?
