LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean Announced: Port Royal Screens & Trailer

Today has been the official announcement that Disney Interactive and TT Games will be joining forces with the Lego group to release “LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game”. The video game itself is due for release at the same time as the upcoming 3D adventure “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” in May 2011.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean will have characters, storylines, and locations from Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man’s Chest, and At Worlds End. On top of that it will also feature content from the forth film On Stranger Tides.

The game will feature 70 plus playable characters, and will include all the normal quirky humour we would expect from previous LEGO titles, as well as the whole world of Pirates of the Caribbean made from teenie tiny lego blocks!

I think it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun, I’m a big fan of the LEGO games, and I love Pirates of the Caribbean. Jack Sparrow looks great, the trailer looks fun, and I hope that this will be yet another “hit” from the LEGO Group.
