Life Is Strange – Ask The Devs Session

Developer DONTNOD’s Life Is Strange is due for release at the end of the month. In anticipation, the developer have released the second of their development diaries, which we present below. In addition, the developers will be hosting a reddit Ask Me Anything session, this afternoon (Tuesday 27 Jan 2015) from 14:00-1500 GMT.

For those who don’t know, Life is Strange is to be published by Square Enix (Apparently the only publisher willing to keep the protagonist female!) on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on 30 Jan 2015. The game is, like the successful Telltale Games output, an episodic interactive graphic adventure.

The game sees players follow the story of Maxine Caulfield, a student who finds out that she has the ability to rewind time. The effects of doing so (the Butterfly Effect) will have consequences either in the current episode or later in the story as a whole.

The game’s first episode will cost £3.99, or players can purchase the Season Pass for £15.99 which will allow all episodes to be downloaded once they are released. There will be five episodes in total – so you can see the saving!

Without more ado, here’s the dev diary

And just in case you haven’t seen it, here’s the trailer for the game:

Don’t forget to head on over to the reddit AMA if you have any questions!
