Marvel Announces New Avengers vs. X-Men: Infinite Digital Comic

Following the success of “Avengers vs. X-Men #1: Infinite”  as a digital prelude to the comic book event that has the big super teams of the Marvel Universe colliding, Marvel Comics has announced that it will be publishing a new comic in June.

While the first showed Nova’s return to Earth from wherever the hell he’s been, this AvX:Infinite comic will be a different affair.

According to Marvel, “Following the world changing events of AVENGERS VS X-MEN #6, creators Mark Waid, Yves “Balak” Bigerel and Carlo Barberi bring fans a must read story featuring Cyclops and how the world is seen through his eyes.” Hopefully this instalment won’t involve lots of red and a hefty dash of tunnel vision.

Writing duties for this comic will once again be handled by Mark Waid. “After the deafening critical acclaim for the first Infinite Comic,” says Marvel Senior Editor Nick Lowe, “we had to bring Mark Waid back for the next one.”

The second AvX: Infinite comic will be available on 20th June to coincide with the release of Avengers vs. X-Men #6 via Marvel Digital Comics Shop (or free with the little code in the back of the print issues).
