Marvel confirms Thor & Captain America sequels and others

Greetings all Montoya here

So far the reviews coming in for Thor have been MARVELous (sorry could not help myself) and with high hopes for Captain America, Marvel have confirmed sequels for both the aforementioned films as well as possible solo movies for Black Widow, Hawkeye, Shield and also Dr Strange. The Hawkeye film could be so cool if done right.

I am a huge Marvel fan and have been loving the films so far and this news is music to my ears. Marvel as a studio seem to know exactly what the fans want. Maybe other studios should take some cues from the your movie studio.

“Thor will go off into a new adventure,” says Feige, “and Captain America will continue to explore the modern world in another film of his own. We hope that holds true for the characters appearing in that film — Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the spy organization, S.H.I.E.L.D. — all of whom are more than worthy and capable of carrying their own films. And, we’ve got a lot of other characters we’re prepping and getting ready for film debuts: the world of martial arts, these great cosmic space fantasies, Dr. Strange, and the magic side of the Marvel Universe. There are many, many stories to be mined.”

As long as they are careful, these movies could be amazing, but they could also fail. They weren’t careful with Incredible Hulk and semi-rebooted it too soon after Hulk.

I love me some Superhero movies as much as the next geek but I see the summers getting too saturated with them.
