Whether it’s Fox, Sony or the Marvel stable themselves, here are the world-wide witterings!

McAvoy talks up X-Men, Samuel L. talks up Avengers & Karen Gillan talks up Guardians Of The Galaxy!

X-Men: Days of Future Past: James McAvoy, the younger Charles Xavier, has been waxing lyrical about the upcoming film’s production values: “There’s an army of brilliant actors in that film. Bryan Singer is back at the helm. Potentially it’s going to be the biggest, most epic X-Men they’ve ever had. I think it’s the second biggest production Fox have ever embarked upon, behind Avatar. So they’re definitely going for it.”

He also added that he only gets one scene with Patrick Stewart (older Prof X), but he’ll be sharing a lot of banter with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Nicholas Hoult’s Beast. “His last day was my first day, and that was it,” said McAvoy of working with Stewart. “Then we were done. But we did crossover and we do get a scene together. “Getting to work with Hugh – who I christened Hugo Boss – was great… Getting to work with Michael [Fassbender] again was great. I spent a hell of a lot of time with Nick [Nicholas Hoult]. Weirdly, the people that I spent the most time with acting-wise was not Michael this time; it was Hugh and Nick. And while I bemoaned the loss of my buddy Michael, it was more than made up for by the fact that Hugh and Nick are such amazing people.”

Is anybody else out there wishing for this film to hurry up already!

Avengers: Age Of Ultron: Consistently rumoured to be the Scarlet Witch, Silent House star Elizabeth Olsen has been confirmed for a role in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, by of all people, an open-mouthed Samuel L Jackson, but it’s not confirmed that she’s playing Wanda Maximoff. “I don’t think we begin shooting before March of next year,” going no to say, “I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms Olsen. But I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.”

Guardians Of The Galaxy: Doctor Who star Karen Gillan spoke about her role in the upcoming space epic Guardians Of The Galaxy, saying, “What’s different about Guardians is that, all the heroes, everybody [in the movie] is a bad guy. There’s just good guys within the bad guys.” Commenting on the rumoured Avengers crossover, she said, ”That sounds really cool, but not something I’ve heard anything about. That sounds amazing. I’d be open to that”, adding that the person she’d most want screen time with would be, “Iron Man,” said Gillan. “Robert Downey Jr is really funny. I just love the tone of the Iron Man films. You can really see Robert Downey Jr’s influence on those films. I love how they talk over each other. There are all of these two shots and there’s such a specific tone to all of the acting that I really love in those films.”
