The SDCC Avengers 2 Teaser, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Ep 2 & a villain for Thor 3?

Avengers: Age of Ultron: back at 2013 Comic-Con, at the very end of Marvel’s panel, Joss Whedon came on stage to show a brief video. No one had any idea what it was – turned out, it was a teaser for ‘The Avengers 2,’, and of course, the crowd went ape! But, if you weren’t at Comic-Con, you never had a chance to see that ‘Avengers 2′ trailer… until now.

As part of the ‘Iron Man 3‘ Blu-ray, Marvel (and home-owners Disney) released a JARVIS app that was available on the US iTunes app store (sorry Android users). The app would let you interact with the Blu-ray, set some ringtones, tell you the weather, etc. It was a “play” version of Siri if you will… but, hidden within the JARVIS app is a way to unlock the ‘Avengers 2′ trailer from Comic-Con –  if you download the JARVIS app from the App Store, say “JARVIS, Rough House,” go to the “Suits” section, and press the “Classified” folder, it will unlock the video.

Or, now you can just watch it by following the link below. The bonus with the app is that you don’t just get the ‘Avengers 2′ trailer, but you also get the official video of Joss Whedon coming on stage with Marvel president Kevin Feige to introduce the clip… which is pretty cool:

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: So the first episode aired this week, and attracted a mammoth 12.2 million viewers on Tuesday night in the US – UK stats from last night are not available yet. If you are already hungry for more, then there is a sneak peek out there on the inter-web:

Marvel Entertainment has now released the first clip from the upcoming second episode, titled “0-8-4,” – here’s the synopsis: “Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents travel to Peru to investigate an object of unknown origin, codenamed 0-8-4. But when he runs into Comandante Camilla Reyes, more than just sparks fly at 30,000 feet“.

Thor: Loki star Tom Hiddleston revealed that he’d like to see his alter-ego team up with Amora / The Enchantress, an evil Asgardian sorceress with a malevolent crush on Thor, who then either betrayed or was betrayed by Loki: “When I was first reading the comics, the relationship with the Enchantress was one of the really fun things I thought would be good to explore,” said Hiddleston “and may have even pitched it to [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige at some point. Because she is as sneaky and as untrustworthy as he was.” Hiddleston added, “They basically had a really fantastic and twisted relationship until they both say, ‘You know what? I don’t trust you as far as I can throw you. It’s over.’ Because they keep betraying each other, in a way. So it could be good.” You have to love how far thinking ahead the whole team is…
