Avengers: Age of Ultron: Joss Whedon’s new superhero drama Agents Of SHIELD is set to air in the UK on Channel 4, soon after its US debut on ABC on 24 September 2013. Channel 4 chief creative officer, Jay Hunt says; “Like the superhero universe from which it has come, Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD is big, bold and absolutely exhilarating. Featuring the production values you’d expect from Marvel and ABC Studios, this is family entertainment at its most exciting.” I cannot wait! 🙂

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Director Joss Whedon hinted at a few differences between his take on the killer robot and the comic-book version. Specifically, Whedon plans on reducing his wide range of powers which vary from the standard super-strength and enhanced durability, to a hypnosis ray. “I knew right away what I wanted to do with him,” said Whedon. “He’s always trying to destroy the Avengers, goddamn it. He’s got a bee in his bonnet. He’s not a happy guy, which means he’s an interesting guy. “He’s got pain. And the way that manifests is not going to be standard robot stuff. So we’ll take away some of those powers because, at some point, everybody becomes magic, and I already have someone who’s a witch.”
