McCann and Lee Reunite for LOST VEGAS

LostVegasSmallThe Eisner award-winning team behind Return of the Dapper Men reunite again for their new miniseries Lost Vegas.

Aboard the luxury space station Lost Vegas, only the high rollers are allowed. The stakes are high and wins are massive. Losses are devastating. If a player goes too far into debt, they lose the last thing they own: their freedom, something a con-man gambler named Roland knows all too well.

In Lost Vegas, Jim McCann and Janet Lee have Roland launch a heist to steal back his freedom. It’s Star Wars meets Ocean’s Eleven as Roland must pull off the heist of the millenium.

“The system of “working off debt” is rigged in the houses’ favor, like most things,” writer McCann explained in an interview at PreviewsWorld. “It’ll never happen. For him, there’s only one option: …cheat the system, get enough money to get a ship, and escape the cruiser with a new life.”

Artist Janet Lee says of the book, “Artistically, Lost Vegas is the alien love child of The Hustler and The Wizard of Oz. It’s filled with alien opulence, every type of creature I can imagine, fabulous costumes, scoundrels, thieves, and hard-hitting grit — you know, exactly like the real Las Vegas.”

Colorful aliens, wonderfully-dressed socialites, amazing attractions all litter the pages as McCann and Lee take us through the high stakes world of Lost Vegas.
