MCM Expo is shaping up to be a BIG event and I know a lot of the GS team and our readers will be there so here is some interesting news for you. Looks like the BBC is looking for it’s next Being Human.

The Dead Will Rise At London Comic Con: BBC3 To Reveal Upcoming Horror Series ‘The Fades’

We see dead people… and so can you at next weekend’s MCM Expo London Comic Con as the UK’s biggest pop culture event teams up with BB3 to host a special panel on upcoming supernatural horror series THE FADES at next.

Spilling the beans on the spine-chilling series, which launches this autumn, will be lead actor IAIN DE CAESTECKER (River City, Coronation Street); director FARREN BLACKBURN; producer CAROLINE SKINNER and writer JACK THORNE, who also has writing credits on Skins and This Is England ’86.

THE FADES tells the story of Paul (IAIN DE CAESTECKER), a young man who suffers from terrifying apocalyptic dreams. Dreams that neither his best friend Mac (DANIEL KALUUYA of Skins and Sucker Punch fame) nor his therapist can help him understand. But then Paul begins to see the spirits of the dead; the Fades who are all round us, invisible and untouchable to all humanity. All humanity it seems, except Paul…

To get a sneak preview of the BBC’s new horror show, come along to THE FADES panel at the MCM Expo on Sunday 29 May.
