Sony To Double PlayStation Plus Free Games From June

Sony have announced that from June their PlayStation Plus free Instant Game Collection programme will doubled to number of games available to to subscribers from 1 to 2. June marks the 4th anniversary of the PlayStation Plus services and starting on 4th Sony will be offering PlayStation Plus subscribers free access to two games per platform per month across PS4, PS3 and Vita.

Available in June will be Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate and Trine 2 on PS4 with NBA 2K14 and Lone Survivor on PS3 and Dragon’s Crown and Surge Deluxe on Vita. Game slightly vary per region

Sony also announced a change to the period games will be available. Starting in July, games will be available for slightly less time, from the first Wednesday of the month right up until the first Wednesday of the following month. Previously games have been available for longer periods sometimes months.

Earlier this month Microsoft announced that it would be bringing its Games for Gold service to the Xbox One with two free games, and to celebrate Games for Gold first anniversary on the Xbox 360, it would give 360 Gold subscribers and extra game in June totally 3.
