State Of The Art Cinema Movie Poster Exhibition Coming To London

If you are in or around London and are at a loose end with 30 minutes or so to spare, you won’t go far wrong visiting the Getty Images Gallery at 46 Eastcastle Street, London, W1W 8DX. They have a free exhibition running until Sunday 9th June. (Opening hours 11am – 9pm daily: Sunday until 4pm)

The ‘State of the Art Cinema’ exhibition showcases film poster art and photography. Covering the biggest films for UK release from now through to September 2013 and covers six genres: ‘Heroes and Superheroes’, ‘Britain On Screen’, ‘Supsense’, ‘Dramatic Twists and Turns’, ‘Comedy’ and ‘Family.

But not only do they have amazing posters, they also have QR Codes which you can scan to see the movie trailer too.

If you can’t get to London before this date, fear not, the exhibition is also going to be at the following places;

* Tuesday 9th – Saturday 13th July: Hoxton Arches, Cremer Street, London, E2 8HD (Open 11am-6pm daily: Saturday until 4pm)

* Tuesday 30th July – Saturday 3rd August: The Gallery in Cork Street, 28 Cork Street, London, W1S 3NG (Open 11am-6pm daily: Saturday until 4pm)
