The Avengers get new banners and a prequel comic

The hype machine has been going full steam ahead for a while now on Marvels grand experiment The Avengers movie which will arrive in the summer. Now we get some great looking banners and also a prequel comic mini series.

First up the banners. They look great and I’m really starting to root for Hawkeye as my favourite character in this film and he just looks perfect.


Marvel’s The Avengers Prelude is a four issue limited series based on the Marvel cinematic universe that uses the characters and their likenesses from the film to give fans more background information on what The Avengers is all about and how it came to be.

The first issue hits stands in March, written by Chris Yost & Eric Pearson, with artwork by Luke Ross & Daniel HDR.

  1. I was all ready to make one of those my new background, but a) they’re too small and b) they feel a little too photoshopy to me. I hope they put out a group action poster soon. I need to see the whole team in poses together.
