The Flash WILL Be In His Red Suit in Arrow Season 2

arrow-tvMore news on the upcoming arrival of The Flash in Arrow-land

So, we know that The Flash is set to be introduced in season 2 of “Arrow”, that hopes are that it could spin-off into his own series. Now, Arrow writers Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns, confirmed by The CW as being busy on crafting a pilot episode, speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, have revealed even more details about the show. The pair revealed that The Flash will first appear in the eighth and ninth episodes of Arrow’s next season, and that the twentieth episode will serve as a backdoor pilot for The Flash’s TV series.

“When we first meet Barry Allen, he’s just a forensic scientist … an ordinary man,” Kreisberg said. “Part of the fun for the audience … is to see how we view our Arrow take on the Flash legacy. Some of it will feel very familiar to DC Comics, some of it hopefully will feel different, fresh and exciting. The same way we approached Arrow is the same way we’re approaching Barry. There will be extraordinary events in the world and the characters will react in the same way.”

They also confirmed the $1M question of whether The Flash’s look will be the same as Arrow’s urban bowman, and not the trademark red suit with lightning bolts for ears: “No sweat suits or strange code names; he will be The Flash.”
