Tom Paton celebrates first festival screening of new horror feature Redwood

Writer/ Director Tom Paton has announced the first festival screening of eagerly anticipated horror film ‘Redwood’ at SCIFIWEEKENDER VIII on 30th March 2017 ahead of a full UK release in Autumn, 2017.

We were lucky enough to chat to Director Tom Paton about his new movie Redwood and his star Mike Beckingham about this project, a film that follows on from Tom’s other acclaimed film ‘Pandorica’.

‘Redwood’ tells the story of Josh and his girlfriend Beth who head out to a secluded national park in search of some clarity on the situation they’ll face when they return after some bad news back at home. The couple get more than they bargained for when they ignore the advice of Park Rangers and venture off the trail, coming face to face with The Redwood’s legendary wildlife…

Redwood brings a fresh spin to a well-worn mythology to create an edge of your seat horror movie that will shred your nerves and have you thinking twice about going camping again.
Redwood stars Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Jessica-Jane Stafford (TV’s The Real Hustle), Mike Beckingham (Subconscious), Tatjana Nardone (The Passion) and Muzz Kahn (Me Before You) and is written and directed by Tom Paton.

I highly recommend checking out the trailer and I guarantee you’ll be looking forward to checking out this film as much as we are.
