A release date of the forthcoming downloadable content for the Assassins Creed 3 game has been formally announced. On 19th February the first instalment of a three-part downloadable storyline for the game will hit, which apparently will expand upon the political aspirations of historical figure George Washington in a variant of the Assassin’s Creed universe.
Titled ‘The Infamy’, part 1 will find Connor waking up in an alternate reality where a more sinister George Washington has crowned himself king and dictator. The story will cross three episodic downloadable content packs, with part 2 called ‘The Betrayal’, and part 3 entitled ‘The Redemption’, which will see release at later dates.
The price of each episode on the X-Box 360 will be 800 Microsoft Points (£7.99), or come free with a season pass that will cost 2400 Microsoft Points (£23.99). Prices for the DLC on other formats will be somewhere along those lines for players on PC, PS3 and Wii U.
Assassins Creed 3 DLC ‘The Tyranny of George Washington: The Infamy’ will land on X-Box 360, PS3, PC and Wii U on 19th February 2013.
