Watch_Dogs realease date confirmed for 27th May in new trailer

Ubisoft have confirmed that their highly anticipated and delayed open world games Watch_Dogs will release on 27th May on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360. A Wii U version of the game will also be released at a later date.

“We are pleased to be able to reveal to gamers all over the world the new release date for Watch Dogs,” Ubisoft’s EMEA senior VP of sales and marketing Geoffroy Sardin said. “We are extremely confident that the additional time we afforded the dev team to refine and polish the game will be more than worth the wait.”

As a bonus for PlayStation gamers, players who purchase Watch_Dogs on either platform will have exclusive access to 60 minutes of additional gameplay via the PlayStation® Network. Sony

SCEE’s VP of third party relations Michael Pattison said: “We’re really excited for the launch of Watch Dogs on both PS3 and PS4 and are confident that it will prove to be one of the stand out games of 2014.

“It’s a unique and visionary game and we believe that the exclusive content available via PSN will not only excite gamers, but showcase how PlayStation is a preferred destination for Watch Dogs.”

Sony also announced plans to release two Watch Dogs PlayStation hardware bundles for the PS3 and PS4 that will launch on the 27th May alongside the stand alone game.
