Writer Dwayne McDuffie Has Died

Time for some incredibly sad news!

CBR is reporting that comic and animation writer Dwayne McDuffie has died. There is no information about how he died but he was in attendance of the premier of All-Star Superman, which he wrote, just a few days ago so this appears to be very sudden.

McDuffie as one of the creators of the Milestone brand the others were Denys Cowan, Michael Davis and Derek T. Dingl. He has written comics for Marvel and DC comics among many others, and was one of Bruce Tims Writers for Tim’s DC animation products. His adaptation of All-Star Superman was released just today.

  1. This is shocking, sad and seems so out of nowhere, always so sad when we lose someone so young. According to wikipedia (which I cannot believe has been updated already!) ‘ McDuffie died from complications due to a surgical procedure performed the previous evening.’. RIP Dwayne, you will be missed.
