Win SCI-FI LONDON All-Nighter tickets

Posted by montoc1701 on April 19, 2011

Greetings all Montoya here

If you have never attended the Sci-Fi London Festival then you are missing out. On Friday the 29th April they are having a all nighter showing some great movies. You can buy tickets but you can also win a pair of tickets courtesy of Titan Books.

The All-Nighter includes Richard Dreyfuss’ brush with UFOs in Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) (35mm*), Peter Hyams’ space western Outland (1981) (70mm) starring Sean Connery, Douglas Trumbull’s brain warping thriller Brainstorm (1983) (70mm) and finally Kubrick’s pioneering masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) (Digital).

Free tea and coffee will be served between each film to keep everyone going until dawn and there will be the usual mix of competitions and prizes. This all-nighter will finish at approximately 9.30am on Sunday 30 April. This time includes tea/coffee breaks.

The event is in partnership with Empire too so copies of the magazine will be given out to everyone attending plus a range of DVDs, film posters and books for the lucky winners – fancy dress comps for best sci fi character!

So what are you waiting for. Go here to find out more.
