British Film Institute Celebrates 50 Years of Doctor Who
Posted by wedgedoc on January 10, 2013

Residents of London (or visitors to that city during 2013) who are fans of the BBC‘s long running tea-time family show, Doctor Who should keep an eye on the British Film Institute‘s Events page. The institute is running a series of events over the course of the year to celebrate the 5oth anniversary of the programme.
Special screenings and discussions of episodes (beginning on January 12th with a screening of 1963′s An Unearthly Child) with guests including cast, crew and celebrity fans of the show. The Institute will also be running other events throughout the year. If I find myself heading London bound, I’ll certainly try and pop in!

Misfits Series 2 – Best Press Conference Ever (Audio Interview)
Posted by geeksyndicate on November 5, 2010
Last night I was privileged to attend a screening for the 1st episode of the new series of Misfits. Watch the website for a review of the episode.
Before the preview however, I and a few others were lucky enough to get some time with the cast. I have to say this was one of my favourite press conferences ever. The guys are clearly great friends and very comfortable with each other and as you will be able to hear it was a great laugh.
All the cast were there – Nathan (Robert Sheehan), Kelly (Lauren Socha), Curtis (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett), Alisha (Antonia Thomas) and Simon (Iwan Rheon).
The recording starts when I ask the first question and ends when Johnathon Ross enters the room as he had to change into an orange boiler suit which was funny in itself.
So brace yourself for inappropiateness and enjoy – Misfits Press Conference
