The Men Who Stare at Goats, based on a book by Jon Ronson is about the U.S. Army’s look into weaponizing psychic abilities, is a dark comedy / buddy road movie; think that sounds like an odd combination, well, that is just the tip of a very odd iceberg.

A reporter, trying to lose himself in the romance of war after his marriage fails, gets more than he bargains for when he meets a special forces agent who reveals the existence of a secret, psychic military unit whose goal is to end war as we know it. The founder of the unit has gone missing and the trail leads to another psychic soldier who has distorted the mission to serve his own ends. – IMDB
Boasting an all star cast of George Clooney, Jeff Bridges, Ewan Mcgregor and Kevin Spacey this trailer didn’t look half bad and did raise a chuckle or two. My favourite line being.
“We’re Jedi , we don’t fight with guns we fight with our minds”
Any film with a line like that in there is worth checking out.
