Sunday at Comic-Con is usually my favorite day of the entire convention but not because I’m usually ready to sigh in relief that it’s all over (no matter how fun it is). It’s mostly due to the fact that it’s the day the Merlin panel appears on the schedule and is what I now dub “Merlin Day”.
I spent the day talking with the cast in the press room, running from one end of the convention center to the other with only 10 minutes to spare before the panel started, attending the fan signing and lastly seeing the glee on Colin, Katie and Angel’s faces when they revved the engine of Batman’s Tumbler from The Dark Knight Trilogy. As most TV shows headed towards their season (or series) finales, there’s one eagerly anticipated show nearing its fifth season première and that would be HBO’s True Blood!
Many of fan-favorite characters are returning but there are also some new folks debuting on June 10th including one that I’m most excited for – former Law & Order: SVU star Christopher Meloni.

Two Brothers, one car an angel and a drunk who together they stopped the Apocalypse. After losing and then finding their father, going to Hell, becoming addicted to demon blood and discovering they were the vessels for the epic fight to end all fights, it all came to end with one brother falling into the “cage” and the other finally finding happiness and a normal life. Or so they thought.
This was the journey of two brothers named Dean and Sam Winchester and the show that became a cult hit – Supernatural.
