Gillen Goes Solo on X-Men

Uncanny X-Men #535 by Terry Dodson
I think this is news that will surprise no one! Kieron Gillen will be the Solo writer on Uncanny X-Men as of issue #534.1
Kieron has been the co writer on Uncanny with Matt Fraction since December, but since Matt Fraction gets more and more high profile work (The Mighty Thor and Fear Itself) he has been spread rather thin. So starting in April Mr Gillen will be all alone to shape the future of the mutant universe with the assistance of artist Terry Dodson.
This is great news for X-Men fans all over the world but it’s especially good for us Brits to see one of our own rising to the top so quickly. Kieron is now writing one of the main X-titles he is also writing “Journey into Mystery” the book that the current Thor ongoing is going to become in a few months.
