ADVERT BREAK: Joss Whedon: The Complete Companion

Book CoverIn my mind Joss Whedon’s contribution to pop culture is up there with the greats; George Lucas, Stan Lee, etc. He is the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse, Angel and Firefly, as well as working on comic books, such as Astonishing X-men, and films, such as Toy Story. So a book all about him seems like an interesting proposition.

To coincide with the launch of The Avengers movie, of which he wrote the screenplay, PopMatters and Titan Books are releasing Joss Whedon: The Complete Companion, this book promises to consolidate his whole career and give an interesting insight into the “Whedonverse”.

Over 40 contributors have been brought together by PopMatters to provide an irresistible mix of analysis, interpretation and sheer celebration.

This book seems like a must read for all Whedon Fans, including me, and if it lives up to its hype should be a great read full of interesting facts to dazzle your fellow geeks.

Look out for a review soon.

Joss Whedon: The Complete Companion is available from 1st May
