Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion Landing in March

If you have any interest in space and gaming, you will more than likely have at least heard of Kerbal Space Program, the cute space exploration game from Squad. This March it is getting the Making History Expansion, an expansion set to add a variety of mission-based things to the core game.

Firstly, it will feature a mission builder that lets players create and share their own missions. The player can tinker with things such as victory conditions, malfunctions and even unexpected obstacles. It will also come with a host of missions inspired by space exploration history, so that players can experience the Kerbal equivalent in all its glory.

Kerbal Space Program is one of those games that you play and, if it grabs you, makes you wish you could get better at it. I’ve enjoyed many hours tinkering with rocket designs and grappling with orbital trajectories, and I am absolutely woeful at it. That doesn’t stop me revisiting it time and again though, when I get the itch to blast the innocent little Kerbals into space. Actually, I’m probably just setting up a murder production line, as they don’t tend to come back. Hmm.

Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion is set to release for PC on 13th March and has an RRP of $14.99. Anyone who bought Kerbal Space Program during April 2013 will get it for free, in keeping with the developer’s promise made at the time.
