Whether it’s Fox, Sony or the Marvel stable themselves, here are the world-wide witterings!

SHIELD / Thor Cross-Over, Daredevil drafts a writer, Wolverine 2 get ideas, “Witch” Actress will be in Avengers 2, and the Guardians have stones!

SHIELD / Thor: #Thor: The Dark World crosses over into Agents Of SHIELD in this new trailer:

Daredevil TV Show: Netflix have signed Buffy and Angel writer, and director of The Cabin In The Woods Drew Goddard to write their 13-episode Daredevil series, and based on experience to date, Goddard may perhaps direct the first episode too. Goddard had previously expressed an interest in working on a Daredevil movie, saying, “Like everyone else, I love Born Again: that was a seminal work for me. Everything Frank Miller did on Daredevil is like the Bible.”

Wolverine 2: Hugh Jackman confirmed that ideas are already in play between himself and director James Mangold regarding The Wolverine sequel. “I was on the phone with Jim Mangold last night,” said Jackman. “There are some really cool ideas that I’m dying to tell you, but that would be giving away a secret that is not even [fully] formed yet. “I don’t want to dive into another one until we have a compelling reason to do another one,” he continued. “I love the character, he’s kind of like a best friend to me, and I don’t ever want to take [him] or the fans for granted. … I think we’ve got a great opportunity to make something really cool, but it has to be great. That’s what we’re all working toward.” The star also clarified his contract position re more Wolverine or X-Men films: “I started with a two-picture deal on the first two [X-Men films], and from that point on it’s been movie by movie – not just me, but Fox and Jim and everyone,” Jackman revealed. “I do want to do it with Jim and with [producer] Lauren Shuler-Donner because we had such a great experience. I’m really proud of The Wolverine.”

Guardians of the Galaxy: Speaking about the mid-credit scene in Thor: The Dark World, Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed that the Aether and the Tesseract from Captain America: The First Avenger are the first of the Infinity Gems. In the comics, the Infinity Gems are sought by Thanos for his Infinity Gauntlet, giving him near-limitless power. However, it has been a mystery just which stones are which, as neither the colours and abilities of the Tesseract and the Aether match their comic-book counterparts. “I don’t know when we’ll actually divulge that necessarily, but it’s the Space stone,” said Feige of the Tesseract, which opened a rift in space in Avengers Assemble, while the Aether is the Power stone, which grants superhuman abilities. This leaves Soul, Time, Mind and Reality. “One down, five to go,” as the Collector said – and in the comics it’s the Collector that barters one of the gems to Thanos. Asked if the Infinity Gems would be a big part of Guardians Of The Galaxy or Marvel’s Phase 3 movies, Feige replied: “Well the answer to the first question is both. It is both. And then, you know? Who knows? If they allow us to keep making movies, it will go a little bit further.”

Avengers: Age of Ultron: Seemingly confirmed by Samuel L. Jackson last month, Elizabeth Olsen has announced with that she will play Wanda Maximoff – The Scarlet Witch – in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron. She also spoke specifically about acting alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson once again, whom she just completed the recent Godzilla reboot with: “We get to play husband and wife, and we get to play twin brother and sister,” she said. “It’s also fun because even though in ‘Godzilla’ we play husband and wife, we don’t have a lot of scenes together. I just love him. I love his family. I love his kids. I’m so excited we get to work with each other more and to actually work with each other. I think it’s going to be fun.” When asked if she’d seen any concept art or costuming for the film she replied,”No, I just know about it. It’s been talked about, and it’s so fun.”… What a fun girl!
