It’s never too late to join the “Brotherhood”

Welcome to Pimp My Arm!

Welcome to "Pimp My Arm!"

If you’ve ever asked someone for an anime recommendation, then chances are good that you’ve heard of Fullmetal Alchemist. Fullmetal Alchemist is the tale of two brothers, Al and Edward. After a tragedy, the young brothers attempt to use alchemic magic to right this wrong. Hijinks ensue 😉

Fullmetal Alchemist is a fantasy action adventure with a sliver of sci-fi for good measure. The original anime series, based on a manga, ended years ago, but its “sequel” is the perfect jumping on point. Normally, a sequel isn’t where you start, but Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood tells the story from the beginning, now following the manga more than the original did.

The best part about Brotherhood is that you can watch it online for free on the official FMA site. Don’t miss out!

Ok, if you don’t know his brother’s name is Alphonse, NOT ALBERT, and that alchemy is NOT associated with magic in any way, don’t make a small written.. thing on this series. ‘Hijinks ensue’ makes it sound like a silly little anime.
I’m trying not to really bash, but come on.

though I have to say the ‘Welcome to “Pimp My Arm!”‘ made me giggle

    • Sorry for taking so long to respond to your comment. I forget to read them.

Ha ha, yeah, that was a total typo there. When I think Al, I think Albert. Not a lot of Alphonses walking around these days.

Also, in the world of Fullmetal Alhemist, alchemy is basically magic. In the real world, it isn’t magic.

I wrote “hijinks ensue” because what happens to Ed and Al is actually tragic. Just being ironic there. I may not know the difference between Alphonse and Albert, but I know my intention when choosing to use certain phrases.
