This just in- Heroes producers FIRED!

Hit the road jack/ and don you come back/ no more

"Hit the road jack/ and don' you come back/ no more"

You may remember Jeph Loeb as writer of comics such as Batman: The Long Halloween, Superman: For All Seasons, and the various “color” stories (Daredevil Yellow, Captain America: White, Spider-Man: Blue). You may also know him as a producer on the NBC series Heroes. Well, no longer.

Heroes has kicked two of their producers off the lot, a move that will hopefully save Heroes from losing more of its audience due to the bad case of the sophomore jinx. With Jeph Loeb Jesse Alexander, a producer and  writer who worked on Lost and Alias, was also canned. Are good times ahead? Will there be a significant change in the direction of Heroes in the near future? Were Loeb and Alexander most deserving of an axe?

  1. I don’t know what’s been going on behind the scenes, but this seems a bit odd. The show is currently really strong and has been throughout season 1 and the abrupt season 2. I don’t see the logic in getting rid of the guy who gets the whole superhero element … We’ll see how things go I guess.

    Any news on a replacement?

  2. a’bye-bye!
